Congrats on the dog, Hoss.

At least you're getting out... I haven't even been out on a deer hunt as of yet, but the next three weeks I'm hoping to spend alot of time in my stands.

I've got a couple of big lads hanging around on the woodlot that I'd love to meet up this season.

I'll second that!

I didn't know that there was two deer hit. (read it too fast)

You can call me stupid... but I'm sorry, I don't understand that part either.

That's good of your 13 year old son thinking that way. It sounds like he's got much more sense than your friend Kevin has, and I hope Kevin has learned a valueble lesson with the mistake he's done. A crossbow is a crossbow and nobody, and I mean NOBODY, should be taking them kind of shots at any dee...

I just had this same problem. Mine kept getting worse and worse. I discovered that the scope internal lenses had fogged from moisture. If you'll look into your scope with a flashlight it will illuminate the back surfaces of the lenses and you will see what I am talking about. That would work! Deser...

I have a 2001 Paradox and had my string and cables replaced at a Pro Shop once. Now I have a Bow Master portable bow press with the split limbs brackets so I do it myself now, because I found it to be a pain in the arse to have to depend on, and having to run to a Pro Shop to have work done. As was ...

With the Vixen should I keep him with the Gold Tips and 100gr heads, or should he use 2219's with 125gr heads?

Yep, the sound has to come right from the gut. Nothing beats the old traditonal birch bark cone for distance calling. And when you know there's a bull close by, use your hands and cup them around your mouth and block your nostrals with your index fingers, just as you would when using the cone. The c...
