Look up the Sidewinder Quiver Adapter. I have one made by Vista but TenPoint sells them now. Works pretty good. I found the one I have on closeout for $12.

Re: Indiana going for full inclusion...again!
Sure wish I would have gotten a lifetime license when I lived up there way back when. My boys still live there and I go up and hunt with them during the archery season. Looks like they are not going to classify crossbows as archery to me, not if you have to buy a license that specifies crossbow rath...

Re: Best jig to buy?
I don't think the mini will work on the fatter arrows for crossbows. When the mini came out I emailed them about a mini for use on crossbow arrows like aluminum and they told me they were working on it and should be out either this winter or in the spring.

Re: Camo Dip kit
That's funny Hoss!!! I read that about your hand and my wife asked what was so funny and when I showed her your post she told me I couldn't have one of those kits lol. Love the thermos, looks great. Got to get one of those kits. Thanks for posting.

Re: Camo Dip kit
I've seen those over on AT and read the whole thread and watched the videos on it. Seems like it should work pretty well. I've been debating getting one of the kits and doing my brown Vixen, but the more I think about it the more I like the brown and they don't make the brown any more. Post some pic...

Re: Axiom ??
You're right scott, I would like to see one also. So far I haven't been able to find anyone who has actually shot one. The Vortex would be a better option crazyfarmer if I were taller. I've tried it and the powerstroke is too long for short folks, at least for me. And Yep, I have a crank-a-roooooooo...

Axiom ??
I understand that the Axiom is basicly a Phoenix without the dis bars and a different camo job - so with the dis bars it is basically a Phoenix with a different camo job. Now then, have any of you actually shot the Axiom and the Phoenix? If so how do they compare side by side as far as noise level a...

Thanks Boo. I might give that a try and see what happens. Right now I'm using a factory dacron string which hasn't stretched a bit since I put it on the bow and I'm getting right around 260 fps. What would you recommend in one of your strings for the Vixen and would I pick up enough fps to justify i...

String Question
A while back I bought a Fast Flite Flemish String, the black and gray one, for my Vixen to see if I could get a few more fps out of it. I put it on the bow and just couldn't get believe all the black stain I had gotten on my hands so I took it back off and put it up. Anyhow I was out shooting the ot...

The last few years I used a quiver adapter called the Sidewinder. Basically it's an adapter that makes any quiver a hip quiver. Worked fine. Still had arrows catching on stuff and had to take it off in the tree stand. Think it's made by Vista and I got it at Sports Academy for around $7 on closeout....
