Nice piebald. One of my BILs shot a piebald a few years ago b/c it had a deformed jaw and it's legs were very short. My nephew did a full mount of her for his showroom. He had to fix her jaw so she looked good. Here is a pic of that mount. http://web.njit.edu/~mjw6/jerseyjay//njhunter/white%20deer%2...

skyhunter, welcome and nice to hear you have changed your point of view regarding crossbows. It will give you an additional bow choice. Excal Phoenix is a nice bow. Good luck with her. Will take a bit longer for crossbows to get approved in NY, but as you said, NJ came to their senses. I am one who ...

Enjoyed reading about you guys getting together. Good luck to all this season. (For those that don't know, coyotes got to the buck before I did after I arrowed him and did extensive damage so the bucks cape was not usable.) That is really a shame. :( Good luck finding a cape that is appropriate. :D

Re: maybe a new hunter??

I've taken my daughter out shooting since she was 10. she likes shooting but never was interested in the hunting part. shes now 22 and shot my crossbow today for the first time. Hate to say it but I'm glad we shot a different target each time or I'd be buying bolts. She's a crack shot. Was surprise...

Great to see you posting here again KMTPR! Thank you. I had a problem for a few weeks when I had updated my email address and had to get Peter to fix it for me. I go on quite a few boards and don't post much. Like to read the posts and reply IF I can. Good people on here and other boards. Loo...

You're wrong K. You are a great contributor with your support, views, encouragement and knowledge of the current legislature. Thank you for all of that. If you get out bowhunting this year will you be shooting or snapping pictures? Laura, thanks for the nice words. I have met a lot of friends who a...
