Good read. And you didn't even mention the absolutely weird weather! My main area is thick except for the logging drag trails, and they were pretty much mud bogs most of the late season. Made it next to impossible to get around quietly. Next year's gotta be better!
Save up yer bucks for a new one. Save up some more for the whole kit w/ bolts, quiver, extra string, stringer, etc.
The accessories that Bill puts in the kits are excellent and work very well with the bow.
Penny-pinch on beer, but not on your bow.
Got some rifle stock checkerin' jobs to do, target practice with my Phoenix, practice with my new Summit Viper climber, lookin' for sheds and scoutin' for new stand sites for the fall, fishin' for smallies in the creek in my back yard which means tyin' some more wooly buggers, shotgun practice for s...

Mine doesn't seem that loud at all, but then I've been shootin' a smokepole for a while.
My Phoenix finally arrived yesterday. UPS 2nd-day air from Cabela's that took a week, but that's another story. (Grrrrrr!) Assembled it this morning when I should have been gettin' ready for work. Instructions were concise, well-illustrated and easy to follow. I'm glad I went ahead and...
Never in the woods, or even in the truck I take to get there, and never with my huntin' clothes on. Deer have an incredible sense of smell. If you have a good wind in the right direction and you're elevated in a stand, it probably doesn't make that much difference, but otherwise, it could kill your ...
Thanks, y'all. Got a lot to learn. First year hunting in Ohio. Way different from South Texas! No heated tower blinds. LOL.
How 'bout this weather, Wabi! Finally got a North wind today. Didn't go out this mornin' due to the thick mud on the loggin' drag lines, but headed out shortly.
