Re: Excalibur 2021

I'm putting my vote in for an Ultralight model. Able to be rope cocked with speed between 325-350fps. I prefer a Micro. Make it all black maybe with soft touch type paint. I dont worry about limb failures. I have spares and the best warranty in the business. Take care Hatchet I like the idea of a s...

I am still itching from being devoured by black flies and mosquitoes during our spring turkey season.

Re: BH target

I might add that I have never needed Danny's pullers to get arrows out of my M High Roller.
Also, I have a few dozen of Danny's pullers laying around here just in case.

He has them listed for $30 USD.

The last guy that did that here had to disas...

Re: BH target

From experience the 18 - 1 is a real bugger, especially when cold. The M High Roller is easy by experience. If the BH pokes out the other side I unscrew it first to make it easier and promote less damage. Out of the the two the 18 - 1 might get longer life but I like the Morrell better but I don't h...

Re: BH target

I like the MORREL HIGH ROLLER. It stops my BH and mechanical arrows shot at 480 fps. It lightweight and portable. Negative: its not a forever target and extended BH use can weaken some areas with repeated use . Tip : shoot the Hight Roller at different POI's and angles and rotate the cube for longer...

Re: Arrow retention

Inexpensive shrink wrap and easier on the wallet and you can can tighten the retainer mount screws if loose by disassembly.

Edit - thought you meant the retainer fasteners were loose..
Just bend it into the position you prefer.

Re: Newbie here...love the site...Quick question...

Removing the riser limb assembly from the mainframe has no bearing on the scope setting. I have verified this many times. In the past I have flown with my Excalibur by removing the riser limb assembly then wrapping my crossbow in my hunting clothing, then into my wheeled duffel luggage. All good on ...
