I hunt thick stuff. My shots are 99% of the time within 50 yards. So I'm lookin' for heavy calibre's. Right now I shoot a 180gr .30-06 Winchester Silvertip bullet. Well then...you should go with my old standby; namely, the Marlin 336C 30/30 Win (also available in 35 Rem). IMHO, it is the best brush...

I use to own many Rem 700`s, all were in .270=Smokin!! The newer Remington 700`s aren`t very good in my opinion. I don`t know what has happened to them, but the finish is horrible and very rough edged and the new R3 recoil pad is nasty, very cheap feeling. The newer Rem 700`s in my opinion aren`t ne...

Here in Pennsylvania, unless you are disabled, you can`t use a Crossbow in archery season, unless you are near Pittsburgh(where I use mine) or Philly. The reason everyone can`t use one is because of a huge lobby in PA called the UBP(united bowhunters of PA). They pull alot of weight. I feel in time,...

I don`t use any cover scents. Heck, i even where my hunting clothes after being near fires, dogs, etc. I don`t worry about what I smell like or look like. All of these products on the market make me dizzy :D If an animal smells me, it`s cool, I will always have another chance and I do get my chances...

Bows are for Archery season. Guns are for firearms season I wish that were true. As you know, here in PA there is a large bias against Crossbows for archery season, unless you are disabled or near Pittsburgh and Philly, everything in between is taboo with a crossbow. I blame the UBP for alot of thi...
