phoenix in a fire?

I have a Phoenix that has been through a garage fire. The bow was not in the flames but was hanging from a ceiling hook about 12 feet from actual flames. I would estimate that the heat was in the 300* range for about 10 maybe 15 minutes. The bow was unstrung. I dont see any damage to any of the bow ...

Im curious to know What startles the Coyote so much when he smells the tree? I ruled out the roadrunner! I was set on getting some preditor footage, a bobcat or coyote which are plentifull in East Tex. So I took a couple of cat food cans and nailed then to a tree. Seafood flavor on one side with Be...

Biggest deer yet at my stand

Here is a link to a collection of videos taken at my stand. The "Big Boy" is the largest Ive ever recorded. And the Boar aint too bad either. Now if they'll stay around and come out at daybreak on Oct 1 I'll get my chance. http://www.huntingfootage.com/showgallery.php?cat=500&ppuser=782

I had a lease in Tex that was just down the road from a exotic ranch a few miles. They had turned out about a hundred Axis deer to thin their herd. Said that Axis deer were like goats in they would have 2 or three birthing periods a year. Any way a few came down to our place and man were they good e...

I cut off the tarsals from a doe and keep them for next year in the freezer. Then tie a string on them and attach to my boot, letting them drag on the ground. Use de-scented rubber boots. Bucks will follow that trail right to you.

Tom is correct. The control boards for the home brew cameras all have settings for Daytime only, 24 hour, or nighttime only operation. The board has a light sensor to tell day from night and is adjustable for sensitivity. These boards also have settings for the amount of delay between pics. And some...

There are some better teflon Tapes available that are much better quality. In a previous life I used this product from 3m. Very thin only a few thousands thick.
