Try the NAP Shockwave, The spitfire opened on my Barnett Revolution, I haven't tried them in my exomag, but the shockwave shoots good in both. The band doesn't go around the blades it goes under them. I think the kick from the string ( not the speed opens some expandable heads) if the shockwave star...

Acorns are falling
My wife and I went to our cabin this week, the corn was piled up under the feeder and we saw no deer. this is the first time all summer we haven't saw deer. The acorns are falling like crazy, I will probably have to turn feeder off for awhile. Looks like i will have to hunt the oaks this year. A few...

I use a Jo Jan fletcher it does 6 at a time. You have to have nocks with slots in them ( vertical bow ) to use most fletchers. You can glue nocks on target points and screw them in the back of your arrows, on some arrows where this did not work I have taped the nocks to the arrow. To get my offset I...

Philip W. The outhouse blind did not come with the shoot thru mesh, I got the mesh from Cabelas. I had some camo netting and got wife to sew a 15 inch square of the shoot thru in the camo netting and used safety pins to fasten over the 3 windows, then painted the pins. Yes the outhouse is small but ...

Tried my outhouse
I did not like the big shooting window of the outhouse, it let too much light in so I covered half with regular camo netting (you can see good thru it) the bottom half I used the shoot thru mesh, when we got done you could not see any movement in the blind. I was skeptial about shooting thru somethi...

Ricochet, if you shoot a 20 inch arrow there is not enough clearence in the cut place in the rail for a regular broadhead, you have to use a mechanical, if you shoot a 22 inch arrow they will clear. I just made some 22 inch arrows for my brother so he can try the slick tricks in a revolution. I woul...

Gator, one thing i can add to the advice is how tall you are, a 6 foot tall person with the rope cocker can cock the 200 lb. exomag easier than a 5 ft. person can cock the 150 lb. vixen. From reading the forum I've figured most members around 5ft. 5 can cock the vixen and exocet easily and around 5 ...
