Up here in Canada we've got even worse choices in the coming election. Theres the schoolyard bully, spin-doctor that has squandered our national surplus and put everyone in Ontario out of work (all this with a minority government too, well done Stevo!). Then there's Dion... what can you say about th...

Broadside... in season... video camera... razor-sharp broadheads and a perfectly tuned excal? Not saying i'd do it, but i think we can all recognize the temptation that such a shot might present :)

I hear ya, i guess i'm one of the youngins'- hopefully it can be of some comfort that i grew up in a very liberal family in downtown toronto in a VERY liberal school and certainly have my own vews that i developed despite my very biased environment. Sometimes you have to have faith that the kids are...

are bucks not territorial then? I mean, if you take out a buck in an area, doesnt that effect the number of does being...uhhh...fertilized? or do they just pass the does around like in some kinda Greek bathhouse? add it to the list of reasons to hunt deer...

I think i may have a slightly different political perspective up north of the border but i share in the disdain for political correctness. Just recently a local political figure got in HUGE trouble for saying the local Chinese immigrant population in Toronto has become so successful because they &qu...

All great info! Thanks guys - i'm watching over a sick family member right now so i'm not sure when i'll get back to the bow- maybe tomorrow for an hour. I've been shooting from a relatively static bench- the bow can only tilt up and down (from the target's perspective), so human error shouldnt be a...

Accuracy Issues

I'm new to this whole crossbow thing, so you'll have to forgive the silly questions... What kind of accuracy can I expect from my Exocet 200? Right now I'm doing OK with field points out to 30 yards but precision falls off rapidly after that (12” groups at 40 yards, 3” groups at 30 yards) Broadheads...

Whats the word on wearing other religious symbols to class? can Sikh kids wear turbans and kirpans? Jewish kids kippah's? I dont see how a religious T-shirt is any different from a catholic wearing a cross around their neck. I would fight that if i were you - sounds like political correctness runnin...

ahhh Crappy-Tire, the more their China-made products let me down the more I keep going back- this one sounds like a winner though! Went to the local Wally and no luck... no counter person either, felt very alone :) How does the canadian tire bag hold up against broadheads? They seem to fly right thr...

Thanks for the suggestions guys! These shafts are recoverable, right? The aluminum bits are pulled out but the carbon shafts and fletching are ok - any special glue i should use? Is it normal for the aluminum backs to pull out so easily? i literally just purchased a pack of new firebolts and the bac...

DIY Targets that dont eat bolts?

So i'm slowly gathering gear as i can afford it and a target is a little out of range this week. For the past couple days i've been using a block of pink foam (that foundation insulation stuff) made by gluing about 20 sheets together. Problem is my new exocet (Thanks sidekick!) buries bolts in so de...
