All this talk about how great they are is really frustrating me because I don't think ill be able to go out and use them for a few weeks!! GG375, I got them from a store in the states through Ebay called In Sight Sporting Goods. I had no trouble at all with customs. The package of three arrived in m...

G5 Montecs!

My G5 Montecs came in the mail today. What felt like an iternity of waiting wa only a six day shipment but I have been waiting. These are the second lot of broadheads I have purchased. The first being two blade 125 grain Outback Hunter broadheads that are manufactured here in OZ. They were not exact...

Deer Calls

Hi all, Does anyone know a great deal about deer calls. Particularly if you can get them for Red deer or Fallow deer. These are the deer I hunt here in Australia however they do come from Europe and I know red deer are pretty prominantely hunted in England, France and places like that. I am yet to c...

X-Bow String

I think its about time for me to get a new string for my Exocet 200.

Does the Flemish Fast Flight string do any damage to my bow at all? and how many extra feet per second will i get wth it in comparison to the standard string and excel string?

Well I purchased the x-bow already assembled from the shop. It was supposed to be shooting dead on at 20 yards but when I did some target practice it seemed to be shooting a little low and to the right. I adjusted the scope to get it dead on at 20 yardrs but did not realise how to use the zoom proop...

Thankyou very much Farmer.

That is a great help!

Is there a theoretical way to determine how fast your x-bow is shooting? There are no facilities here in South Australia where I can go to test this for a 200 pound crossbow.

Questions about Varizone

Just some questions on the Varizone. When looking in the scope, underneath the crosshairs there are three small triangles. I know what they are for but not what they are called. My question is, what distances are they set for? i.e. ten yards apart or something else? My next question and is the zoom ...

Barnett Crossbows-Opions please!

My couzin fired my Exocet 200 on the weekend and absolutley fell in love! I think I have converted him from rifles to crossbows without even saying a word because the bows performance spoke for itself! He called me just a little while ago asking me about a Barnett Revolution XS crossbow that he saw ...

To Lonewolf-On Broadheads!

Hye Lonewolf, In an argument with that Mike guy i noticed you said that you tested a Montec G5 by putting it through steel on a dodge? Sounds awesome!! At what range did you shoot that from, with what crossbow and more importantly, how was the broadhead looking afterwards? If you have posted this to...

Sounds fantastic. Your right there is plenty of Red deer here and Fallow are also plentiful (I live in SA). On my last few trips I have been seeing an increasing number of Sambar. In fact only this weekend we saw an absolutley massive animal however he was on the neighbouring property to where were ...

this may seem like a silly question but what does FOC stand for ?

and also, if you use aluminium inserts, the weight of the overally bolt will be lighter but wouldnt it still get its lead from the broadhead ?

Im new to crossbow hunting and trying to pic up info where i can!
