I have also been a hunter since I was young (around the age 12) and only recently got into the crossbow hunting because it seems like a very 'true' form of hunting. I have heard a lot about hun...

How waterproof are the Excalibur crossbows? Obviously i wont be going diving with my Exocet but I am going hunting this weekend and the weather outside is a little drizzley. I don't want a little or a lot of rain to stop my hunt, its never stopped my rifle shooting. I am just concerned about the x-b...

I am not too experienced with my Exocet either however maybe you should check the weights of your field points? if your field points are less than 100 grains and shooting dead on, switching to heavier montecs could cause them to shoot lower. If thats not what it is, just wait for someone who knows e...

lol ok...you Americans and not using the metric system!!! You got me all mixed up!, 330 m/s is speed of sound, no 330 feet per second!! which makes my whoe article invalid... i was sure there was somethin wrong with what i was talking about 8)

In theory it really seems like it is possible to take a dder at 40-50 or 60 yards. this has been a great discussion for something that i thought i knew about crossbow distances. Having never shot my exocet (other than in the shop i bought it from at 20 meters), i too was unsure about killing distances.

Thanks guys
