Glad you were in something tall, a little car would have been a lot worse.

Nothing wrong with the shotgun hunt, nothing wrong with drives, maybe they should not be shooting at 300 yards but ethics are personal. I hate seeing this type of post, lets attack one hunters ethics, then no dogs allowed, the next thing is only stand hunting. Why not make crossbows illegal in Ontar...

Next time get yourself an LED light, they seem to work quite well and never seem to die.

Good luck in the morning, not sure about your area but in some places you can use a dog to help you track a bow shot deer as long as you are not loaded when tracking.

Just changed the channel, I am in trouble now, ha ha.

That will taste good on the grill, only problem, your son looks a little small to pull it out of the bush, ha ha.

Where you going to college next year?

I am in my 3rd year, I have 3 days to hunt deer, I doubt much more than that this year, but it will all be worth it when I can get 2 weeks off in November.

I would hunt them if I had time, school is stopping any chance of a hunt this year. Maybe 3 days in November for deer but that looks to be all.

Those bow shop guys are very good, loved dealing with them when I was back in Waterloo.

I fell asleep on a nice rock during one chase when one of the guys got lost, woke up to a herc doing a grid pattern just over the tree tops, amazing, but I was not going to see a deer.
