Re: Lumizone.....WTH?
Has anyone here had a problem with their Lumizone holding zero? I was out today, had the bow hitting plastic bottle caps at 30, all was good. I went in, grabbed some lunch, came back out and resumed shooting...now I'm shooting 8" high! Same arrows, same shooting technique, same distance....I t...

Re: Safety harness
pokynojoe, I make my own lifelines from 11mm dynamic climbing rope and 7mm prussik cord. Would a "klemheist" knot work better than a prussik? I know that it is easier to break free than a prussic after it's been loaded. What do you use and recommend instead of a prussik? houser52 I wouldn...

Re: Safety harness
Actually HOW you wear it is equally important. The tether strap should be adjusted so you can get back on stand if you fall. You'll likely die from (suspension asphyxiation) in about 1/2 if unable to get weight off harness. Indications are that most falls occur when climbing up or down. A safety li...

Re: Father Time, Mother Earth
This is a very generous and thoughtful thing to do! Both the knife and the hatchet are beautiful, but personally, I would like to show up at camp with that hatchet! Didn't know you made those too. Inspiring!

Re: low drag vanes
Ch I had some success with the AAE Max target vanes in 2" shield cut version. However, I need to qualify that success. This was with field points or nibbs, I'm not sure they would stabilize broadheads, never tried it. If you'd care to try some, PM me your address, and I'll send you some in good...

Re: Crazy weather
Sort of lucky here, sort of not. Waited it out last night until about 1 AM. Finally got a look see this morning. Lost thirty souls in our state. My car looks like a golf ball, I'm sure it's totaled. I suspect I have some roof damage, I'll have to inspect it further. I've got a few years on me, but I...

Re: A deal for somebody!
DaGriz Your generous offer reminds of a time, many years ago in which I gave a knife to an old trapper in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. I'm hoping somebody here might be aware of this old adage, because I can't remember the ritual exactly. After I gave the trapper a Knife, he reached in his pocket and...

It use to be that "common sense" was a prolific fellow, found all over the world. Now I believe "he" is going the way of the dodo. I fear this is a rising tide sweeping across the globe. I'm just glad I won't be around long enough to see it.
I wish you good luck sir!

I suppose one could ask that about any consumer good. For those that understand; no "justification" is needed. For those that don't; no justification will do.
