Slick Trick performance???

Thinking of buying Slick Tricks after reading many favorable reviews.

I'm new to archery and have only had my crossbow since February shooting field points from my new Exocet 200.

What works best in your experience?

100's??

125's??

1" cut or 1 1/8" cut????

Thanks for the input

My Excocet 200 did 318 fps ave. with Gold Tip Laser II's and 100 grain field points, using the standard excel string recently.

Don't know about the Beemans, never used them.

Search ebay. Bowhunterssuperstore in PA had them for $79. I got one a few weeks ago. Shipped very fast and price couldn't be beat! Super people to do business with. I too bought the Right Stuff package and found the string provided in the accessory pack to have different colors. Other than the colors, the accesory pack has it marked as an "Excel" string. The one in the package and the one supplied with the bow look to be of the same material and twist...

O/T Traditional style recurve

Looking for a recurve or longbow with sight pins or ability to add them. I realize that this is not the most traditional way to go, but I am just looking at options at this point before I jump into buying a bow. Looking for a decent bow for recreational shooting. Thinking 45-50 lb pull max. What dra...

I've got the Savage 12 BVSS model in 223. Shoots amazingly small groups. Try the 75 grain Hornady Match bullet for long range. It really shoots great out of my rifle over heavy loads of Varget powder. My local range goes to 500 yards and its really fun shooting way out there with the little 223.

What height for scope mounts??

I have the Excalibur scope rail and plan on ordering a VariZone scope soon. I have a bunch of Weaver rings on hand from other guns which I am not using. What height are the rings sold by Excalibur? Low, Medium, High? I probably have them already but would like to know what Excalibur sells/recommends...

I realize the sight-in will change with the 125's or any change in weight.

Typically, how much will trajectory change at 25 yards from 100's to 125's? An inch or two? More?

Broadhead weight-What difference will I see?

Currently shooting Gold Tip Laser II shafts and aluminum inserts as provided in the "Right Stuff" package. I'm shooting an Exocet 200 and will be hunting whitetail. I found a good deal on Slick Trick 125 broadheads. Everything I've been shooting so far, field points and Wasp SST's, have be...

New here to crossbows also, bought my first bow of any kind in February. My buddy has a 10-point, no problems with it and I like it too, but I decided on the Excalibur due to reputation and its simplicity and user friendliness. I bought an Exocet 200 but if I were to do it again, I'd buy a Phoenix (...

Vari-zone or Aimpoint red dot for low light shooting

I have an Aimpoint Comp M single dot scope I could use on my Exocet. I could also buy a Vari-zone. I think the Vari-zone reticle could be usefull for longer shots but my tree stand is in thick stuff and max shot would be about 25-30 yards anyway. Which scope would be best in the dim light of dusk? W...

Cheap internet archery supply sites

Pretty new at crossbowing and need info.

Who are some good, reputable, internet dealers in archery supplies at the best prices? Links appreciated.

Particularly looking for someone carrying Slick Trick Broadheads, Excalibur accesories, related archery stuff.

Thanks.

Yeah, I love it when my buddy says his compound bow is in the shop, "They might be able to get to it in a week or so....."
