I've seen video camera mounts for bows that screw into the stabilizer hole. I've never tried one to see if it really works or not, but I'm sure there's a way to do this with the crossbow, too. It would definitely require some way to dampen the vibrations where the camera is mounted to the crossbow. ...

I wonder if the camera mounted right on the bow would perform better if you used the string dampener system discussed here.

I'm right-handed but left-eye dominant, so I've always shot left-handed. I can shoot righty if I need too, though. Not sure why I started shooting lefty when I was little - it just felt better, I guess. I didn't realize I was left-eye dominant until YEARS later. I have both left and right-handed com...

I would check the rotation of your scope (assuming you're using the Vari-Zone). It's much more crucial to have it aligned perfectly with the crossbow than with a rifle. With the rifle, you typically put the crosshair where you want it to go and pull the trigger. With the Vari-Zone, you have several ...

I don't plan on ever firing a gun without my muffs on again. My father poo-poos it, but I've heard too many stories of people that have suffered permanent hearing loss just from firing one shot in the woods while hunting. It's not an acceptable risk to me. For anyone that is considering buying the o...

I'm not sure, but I don't think you can get them anywhere except from them directly. Any lighted nock would be good, but I've tried the Lumenocks on my vertical bow and I don't like them nearly as much as the Tracer. Lumenocks are a lot easier to find, though. If you can buy a single nock, it wouldn...

I splurged and spent $400 on the Walker's Game Ear Power Muff Digital QUADS A/I model. I don't find them THAT useful for hunting as far as actually hearing animals, because you're just NOT going to hear a walking deer until it's right on top of you anyway, but I can imagine they'll be more useful du...

Also - regarding what Tye said - could you let me know what your FOC is once you get the Tracers installed. I didn't have any change in my point of impact once I installed mine, but I haven't shot beyond 20 yards with it since doing it. You're shooting 125-grain broadheads, so I would think that you...

That was the hardest part for me, too. I had 6 new arrows, and on 3 of them I was able to pull the old nock out with one of those rubber jar opener grippers. Since I only had 3 nocks, I lucked out. The next step was going to be to try a pair of pliers. If that didn't pull them out easily (I wouldn't...
