You pack it in a box and go to your post office and send it to wherever. The fees vary depending on where you send it to, the size of box, and weight. You can guesestimate fees by looking here:

Yes you do have to carry your firearms cert. when you are carrying a firearm. Hence, why they want you to carry the coupon in the meantime. You should also carry the registration of the firearm (you are carrying) or transporting.

Based on where you live(New Brunswick):

1st moose (if it's the size similar to that of a horse hoof)
2nd coyote or wolf
3rd coyote or bear scat (I'd lean more towards black bear)

I like putting scent on my boots before I walk up to my spot. Basic doe scent and also fox scent. The theory is the deer may smell me or other unnatural smells, but will feel more confident(even curious) that a deer and even a fox have followed my route. Now does it actually work?
