Re: Which one are you?
My preferred weapon to hunt with is archery gear although for one week I enjoy taking my TC Triumph for a walk in the bush. Come January 1 I'll start targeting them yotes. I also enjoy target shooting with just about any "firearm". I can also admit to being a collector, of unfilled tags. :...

x2 and I like the compact size of the target.Farmer wrote:For dual use ( fp's and BH's ) the Rinehart 18 n 1 is hard to beat. Arrow removal is not difficult using either head. it stops arrows from my Exocet very well. 2 years and still going strong.

Close call but spike down
Learned a lesson yesterday morning about wearing accessories around your neck when using a compound bow. I've practice shot with no difficulties wearing my binos with a neck strap. What I failed to consider is when in treestand and a downwards angle, they tend to swing out from my body. Took the com...

They are a great store....
Heading there Saturday to hopefully have a scope mounted on my muzzleloader and check what other goodies are calling my name.

Re: A Message For Newcomers!!!
Thanks for the reminder......
I had every intention of joining but have completely forgotten.
They do list a Canadian membership price.
Is there any Canadian content to the HBH mag?

Re: Target Help!!
Rhineheart 18-1 is very good BH target x 3 for the rhineheart 18-1 just picked one up last week and it is the first target where I can easily pull carbon arrows out of. After shooting carbon arrows into the styrofoam blocks this is nice. No residue left on the arrows either. A little pricey but I f...

Has the string been on since x-mas? It should stretch some more.
I like to keep mine about 2 string widths below the top line.

Re: back quiver
I always found that once I got into my stand I was taking the quiver off the bow. Switched to a side quiver attached to my pack and love it. The bow sits in your lap a lot better in stand and is easier to carry into the bush.

Re: Excalibur marketing dude
I would second the request for dependability. I'm not looking for higher price glass. The glass in your scopes is far more than I require for a short range shot. The problem begins when the mechanics; fogging, poi change for no reason, impacting my confidence with the bows ability to hit where aimed...

Re: Fed up with Lumizone - have to find an alternative scope
These reasons are the main ones behind me not "upgrading" my Axiom scope. You can lots of the same type of stories about how Lumi's crosshairs rotating and some having problems with POI. I've looked at Hawke and Vortex scopes, but I just hate those additional crosshairs. Looks like it wou...
