I checked, riser is at the same level with the rail. The angle of the pic fools the eyes. I adjusted the rope length of my stringer and finally make the string shorter with more twists. Now it is right in front of the second line on the rail. Thanks for all your good advice!

totally agreed. I notice that my crossbow makes a big sound when shooting and the string hits the riser and leaves some wax mark. But I just can't pull the limb back a little more to install a shorter string. Too much weight to pull for me

I served it last weekend. The result is not too bad. But only time will tell. Since it is my first time to do so, I have no idea how tight should I set the serving tool, and the tension I put on the string may not be good enough. The ending part is not very pretty. Here is a picture of my new servin...

need some help for serving material

My center serving on my phoenix just broke apart after one year. I've searched the forum for the tips to do the serving, and wish to do it myself. But I have never done it before, I don't wish to break the bank to buy a hole spool of serving material and find out later I can't do it right and waste ...

great idea, wabi. I thought about that, I think I should make my rope cocker a little shorter so it will not easily drop on the way.

that's a great shot!!! Do you shoot free hand on standing position? I have a phoenix too, but I can't goup it quit well over 30 yards by either standing or one knee on the ground position free hand. So it gave me a hard time to sight in my scope, since it shoot 3" group or worse on 30 or 40 yar...

one thing I don't like airgun is the pellets it shoots are mostly made by lead, which is poison to human. You don't want to eat the bird you shot by airgun. There are a few kinds of pellets made with other materials, but the performance are not as good as lead made ones. My point is if you just shoo...

I have made couple of purchase from them not long ago. And they over charged me once. I emailed them about the problem, their response is fairly quick, however they think they didn't make a mistake at the first time. Finanlly they admitted their mistake and refound my money. They do make mistakes, ...
