if you google gunstock blanks there are places that sell blanks that already dry(not to exspensive either).Just thought id let you know.

I'd take one also.....I just google'd ''gunstock blanks'' and the price range's varied so much.Im not lookin for something fancy and that id be afraid to take into the woods...Just need one that looks good and doesnt cost a ton.$250 sound reasonable to me.

I also agree on the knife thing saxman.I cant help but laugh sometimes when I see someone at the deer check station with a huge machete lookin knifeon hteir hip. :lol:

I would deefinatley be interested in a finished wood stock.My wood working skills are very bad LOL...It would be able to fit all excalibur models wouldnt it?(newer 2006 and on??)Price wise..?Of course the finished version would cost more but i have no idea as to how much.

My local archery store has ''Summit Viper Classic'' climbing treestands for $159.00 ...This seemed like a baigain but I know little about climbers.

(not to get of subject but...)On some of these hunting shows and movies they are taking 60 yard shots :shock: .....That just amazes me...Id never think of taking a shot at a deer over 35 yards.
