Ground Pounders looks the coolest though. :D :D I really like the looks of the Ground Pounder mount. Very symmetrical and balanced and functional. It does require quite a bit more care in setting the arrow in the track, but with all of its other advantages, I can live with that. One advantage of it...

First crossbow deer
Sorry no pics, guys/gals. But thought I would report anyway. This is the first deer I have killed with an arrow in, I can't remember how long. It was a very satisfying feeling. This was with my Exocet 200, with Crazyfarmers Cowwackers and Rage 3 blades. From a ground blind set up in the back of my p...

ch312, one of the things I really like about the groundpounder mount is that when the bow is shouldered and you are looking through the scope, the hood of the quiver not only blocks the animal's view of the bright fletching, but it puts more objects between your face and it. Almost like hiding behin...

The best thing you could possibly do would be to get Crazyfarmer to make you a batch. I wanted bright and I got BRIGHT!  As you can see by the subdued background colors, they stand out very well. Duckhunt, Obviously Rage paid attention to your complaints. Because they are now being made with a lengthened groove in the blade track to alleviate the problem you pictured. http://i475.photobucket.com/albums/rr111/DMcglide/rage3003.jpg [/img] http://i475.photobucket.com/albums/rr111/DMcglide/rage3...

Why would you shoot a Hammerhead into a foam target? It travels exactly like your field tip. I mean, exactly. Not a fraction off. Scott Well, that's why I asked the question. Crossbow and mechanicals are new to me but I have always preshot my broadheads prior to hunting with them. I guess with some...

Can you shoot the Rocket Hammerhead into a foam broadhead target from a 200 lb Exocet without damaging the head?
How about the Rocket Sidewinder?

I'm a crossbow newbie so take this for what it is worth. I come from a background of traditional archery where the fixed, two-blade broadhead was king. With arrows that shot at 180 ft per second there was never a problem. Sharpness of the broadhead I feel is critically important. A sharp cut is more...
