Re: "Deer Thugs" Questions

I am a Meat Hunter. 'If it's Brown, It's Down' and shortly in the freezer. If a big one wanders by within 35 yards I will put one on the wall, if a small one wanders by! Only trophies on my wall are fish. I have no problem with Trophy hunters, 'to each his own'. We both love to be in the woods. Kelley

Re: Kinda hot down here

Great to see your back is better Ray, I have caught a lot of 'Bull Reds' and I know first hand what they can do to a bad back.

Re: Phoenix Slow Mo

No where near as violent as without STS. I watched several times and could not see string hitting the riser.

Re: Phoenix Slow Mo

I sure am glad I have a STS on my Exocet. That string hit the riser 3 times HARD.

Re: Installing STS

Maybe Sumner will share a picture with us. It is basically a L shape piece of metal with the old style Limbsaver split-limb noise supressor. I gave mine to my son with my Exomax.

I like the simplicity and lines of the GP over the Munch. Other than that both do the same job.

Are you going to sell any? you had quit selling them when I joined this forum. I currently shoot and love Boo strings but own and use others also.

Re: Installing STS

I think I will make another set like the one I copied from Sumner. They worked good for me and are still working well for my son.

Re: Brand Loyalty

I have hunted with crossbows for 22 years , long before Excalibur's were invented. Well almost, however Excaliburs have been around for since 1983, thats going on 28 years. Boy time sure flies, when you're having fun. :D I can't count!! I had my shoes off too. Re: Brand Loyalty

I have owned and taken deer with 5 different brands of Crossbow. I have hunted with crossbows for 22 years , long before Excalibur's were invented. They all got the job done, some more pleasurable than others. I like my Exocet far more the all the other brands put together. I sent my trigger to the ...

Re: pulling trigger with safety on

I do it. I got into the habit early on . . .I just wanted to make sure the safety was properly before I put an arrow onto the rail. However, sometimes I could feel the trigger move. So, I suppose I was taking up slack or eliminating creep. I don;t notice that anymore. I just want to make sure the s...

Re: Ground Pounder Mounts - end of an era

Sorry to see the end of the GP mount. I am on the second bow with mine. The bow may go but the mount will stay. Thanks for bringing into the world a GREAT product Todd.
