Re: Excalibur Quill

I got the same thing Boo. Used the quills "as-is", 16.5" using 125gr. Montecs. Offhand and standing (shooting sling) was getting avg groups of 2" with this setupout to 40 yards. I was going to use my 125gr rage 3 blades but wondered if they were going to open prematurely due to t...

Re: Rage nockturnal flat nock FAIL!!

Just a thought here. Did you remove the factory nock prior to installing the nockturnals or was it a bare shaft and assembled. The reason i ask is, perhaps you may have cracked or damaged the shaft while removing tbe factory nock prior to installation of the nockturnal. A cracked shaft will open up ...

Re: Micro 335 width ?

Wow that's tempting ! How hard is it to draw compared to say a Vortex or an Equinox ? Also how quiet is the shot compared to a 355 ? Sorry for all the questions but this Micro thing has really got my attention ! I have the exomax and i stand a little more than 5'6" and i find it easier to cock...

Re: broadheads and the new micro 335

All went as expected. (It's an excalibur! :D ) I decided to use my 125gr montecs. 5 shots to zero, another 20 to confirm zero, then another 20 just to confirm the first 25.... Lol. This micro is the cat's meow. It's amazingly well ballanced and an absolute joy to shoot. It didn't feel small at all. ...

Re: broadheads and the new micro 335

I have to admit that the feel and size of this amazing xbow will br at the top of alot of people's list of must haves. I love my exomax. It has never let me down performance.and accuracy wise but in my doghouse blind which i use for quick hunts it limited my shooting mobility. I don't think that wil...

broadheads and the new micro 335

I just picked up the new micro 335 and all i can say is wow! I walked in the store to pick up some last minute supplies. They had just assembled the new micro and I just had to have it. I'll be going to the range tomorrow to sight it in and was wondering if i can safely use my 125 gr rage broadheads...

I use the Challenger slugs in a rifled barrel. My Mav88 shoots less than 1.5" groups at 75 yards and 3" groups at 125 yards. I have a 3-9x32 scope on it. The last 3 deer shot with challenger slugs have been bang-flops with massive exit wounds. I would not hesitate to try them. The best gro...

If you have a remote control hobby store around, they usually have the cans of lacquer paint in stock in most colors. They use the it to paint the polycarbonate plastic shell of the cars. This is where I found them. Good luck,

Browning makes a backpack style sling. It's called the xcellerator (or something like that). Might be worth a try.
