What a Waste....

Coming back from a doctors appointment at 6:30 this evening on Rt 27, about 1 mile form my house, here in suburbia NJ... I saw a beautiful 9 point buck, a solid 20 inch spread, a good 125 inch class, in full velvet, all in all a very healthy animal...the kind of buck anybody would've loved to put a ...

All of the above are good targets, both homemade and commercial, but you might want to look into this companys x-bow butt......

Very good product...

Eating Sparrows......Hummmm..... Sounds like another variation of the ole "4 & 20 Blackbirds baked in a Pie" rhyme..... But that really was a was a mainstay back in the day...... Actually every species of bird were eaten back in England and later in the colonies.... I read how much Rob...

I too have an Exomax and a Vortex... I like'em both... The Vortex thumbhole stock is a little more confortable and it's silghtly shorter size makes it a little easier to cock, so I tend to favor it, but I've done a lot of tinkering with the Exomax and she's sweet and fast... But speed isn't the be a...

That's the type of spear (action) most hog hunters the use.. A thrusting spear... Bring the hog to bay and go in a thrust the spear... The other type is the throwing spear and that's what the atlatl is.. It uses leverage from a flexible "stick " to throw a 6 ft light weight spear... It's b...

Hey, don't knock it, I'd like to see spears legal....They used to be legal for bears up north, but I think they're not anymore... When I was throwing Atlatls I was good enough to hit a deer killzone at 20 yds... I know about a couple of folks taking hogs down south with'em... Always wanted to try th...

Reading all that BS makes me so proud of those "real" bowhunters here in New Jersey.... It sounds more like the dialog from "Real Housewives of New Jersey".....

......Man, I just can't wait to retire and get outta here!!!!

That's GREAT News!!... Now I won't feel so lonely out there with my crossbow....

Even though I've had the Special Applications Permit since 2000, I always felt I had to look over my shoulder...

Glad to have crossbows available to the rest of the bowhunter community.....

This is gonna be fun.....

Bottomline is that there aren't any states that have shortened their bowseason because crossbows were included in the archery season... The anti argument has no data to back it... The best I can understand is that they are concerned that once you include crossbow hunters into the bowseason more deer...

Since I have a horse in this race I might as well put in my 2 Cents..... All we're doing is adding another form of archery to the bowhunting season... It should be your choice to use longbows, recurves, compounds and/or crossbows during the bow season. Shortened season is a bogus argument.... We're ...

We are overrun with bears... There have been bear sightings in every county of the state.... Even near the urban jungle in the cities up north.... Last spring we had a bear come through downtown Trenton about 2 blocks from my office..... Back in early 1970s the states biologist recommended closing t...

They're proposing allowing crossbows in all archery seasons and it looks real good for passage this year... Plus the Gov. just signed into law allowing archery hunting on Sunday on private lands and Wildlife Management Areas..... However, there's still no bear season!... Way too Political!!!.
