Re: S5 installation

Hope this isn't a thread hijack....... but do you guys find you still need the dissipator bars if the S5s are installed, or will they still make a difference? I'd love to take them off to make unstringing the bow less of a PITA

Re: It Could Happen

Munch you are right. This guy was still really stinky, and was full of debris in his antlers. I guess he's still going hard!

It Could Happen

It Could Happen Lol I was in the blind today and wrote that at the end of a post I made on another board...... refering to the fact I only had 3 hunts left for the year. It was a good omen I guess, because this afternoon it did happen! Shot this Ten Pointer today with my Equinox. 35 yard shot, 35 ya...

Re: Grinder Advice

You can't go wrong with one of the commercial ones from Cabelas. I have the 1hp and my dad has the 1.75hp. Personally I like mine better as I can actually move the thing to store it when not in use. It's a pretty sweet machine. The price may seem a tad high but I fully expect this thing to last my e...

Good luck!

If you hit him high enough he'll probably be ok. I stuck a nice buck high with an arrow once (my first shot at my first deer while hunting under my own guidance..... still mad about it  ) and broke off about 3-4" in his back area..... I know he survived. Get back out there and get him!

I've been hunting a lot and this year has been tough. Haven't seen much deer or sign in my normal spots.... but have heard the coyotes every time I've been out.

I'm also hoping for less snow this winter.......

Can you get carrots in bulk like you can corn? I know they work well, but I'd hate to have to buy them at the grocery store....

I use Knight and Hale synthetic estrus. Had a big buck come right to where I sprayed it, even though he smelled me and was nervous.

His mistake

I just read about this. A very tragic situation. I hope the outcome is a good one.

All the best.
