Re: Nightmare

I don't own one but really want one haha.
If you hunt in a blacked out ground blind then the nightmare black makes sense. Though truthfully from the blind or tree I think either will do just fine. Get one of each lol!

Re: Anyone in Ontario receive moose tag yet UPDATE

I pulled a bull tag in 65. Never hunted moose before, should be a new and fun experience with my Matrix :D

Micro Bow Only - Canada

Anyone know if this is a possibility? I know it can be done in the US but with the dollar difference that isn't happening lol.

Thanks!

I have one, and I love it button and all.
What I want to know is where in Canada can you get one for $500?
Thanks!

Re: Eric, hope you stick around!

For your information Stan, when you send a PM, The recipient gets an email if they have it set up to receive emails on their cell phone, as soon as they open the email it appears to have been read. I seen it, but after seeing all the other things you have been posting I had no motivation to read it...

Congrats!

A giant like that I'd be trying to recover those photos. I'm sure it can be done.

Love the deer wall.

Re: Onestringer wraps?

I use those wraps and like them too!

What do you mean instead of a lighted nock though. I don't find they help me see them in flight at all. But the white wraps I use made it easy to find (this week) the one I shot through a deer last year that burried in the snow.

VX-R Issues

I pulled the trigger on a new VX-R today. When I bought it the guy behind the counter said he didn't recommend it on a crossbow and that there were issues with the scopes being able to handle the high impact and hold a zero. I haven't read anything like that on this site, or anywhere else for that m...

This is what the riser looks like. I don't see any way it would be possible haha.

String stop for old bow

Anyone know if it's possible to pick up String stoppers that will fit an old Exocet 175? It's got a lot of string twang, and is pretty loud.

I'm guessing it's a long shot but I didn't know if anyone of the aftermarket guys made them back in the day.

Thanks!

Re: Broadhead in riser

Thanks guys for the input. I had thought of the un-cocking thing as I know it does happen.

Maybe I'll just keep two bolt lengths

Broadhead in riser

Are there any issues with using shorter bolts where the broadhead would rest inside the riser opening? I've got a Matrix 355 and an older Exocet 175, and don't want to maintain two bolt lengths. If I use the 18 inchers, the broadheads I use sit right inside the riser on the Exocet. I've got about 1/...
