I'd much rather inscribe my own serial number to keep for insurance records then to have the manufacturer start putting them on. If our Gov't caught wind of serial numbers on archery equipment....guess what's next on the registration $hit list?

Xbow - 95% tree, 5% ground. Rifle - 25% tree, 75% ground mainly because with the rifle I hunt with family / group and I enjoy 'dogging' to the fellows. It's a different style of hunting but there is quite a thrill listening to your hound bringing a chase around to one of your gang.

Best advice is what is already been said. Move on and forget about it. Easy to say and difficult to do. I know. I had a brand new ladder stand stolen over this past winter. Couldn't believe someone actually was at the back of my property. There is nearly 7 miles of bush to the north where they had t...

He's in better shape than some deer in our province. At least in your area there are lots of agricultural feed. Some areas were hit pretty hard by back to back years of extreme cold and deep snow / wolves. Some areas not as bad. Either way, I think over all the deer did come through in fair shape. I...

Truer words have never been spoken. I myself start thinking about deer hunting the next year, the day the season ends. It is something that consumes my soul. I was in my office talking to a team mate on the telephone this week, when I looked out at the cedar swamp west of our parking lot and noticed...

I use the Koplin gun rack mounted on my front rack. Before I got them, I used the sling over my shoulder which wasn't too bad in the open, but not very good for in the bush.

Bowster, I too over the winter became a victim of some miserable S.O.B. that walked away with a brand new ladder stand. It shocked me since my land is remote with 7 miles of bush from my north line to the nearest road. Had to be someone in via snowmobile? It blew me away as I've owned the land over ...

I received an e-mail from my brother stating somebody he snowmobiles w/ took this near Port Loring Ontario. This would make sense as it is Ontario's largest deer yard. Like it was already said, 10,000 deer yard in this area to get through the winter.
