Ive heard that deer being so tender does not need to hang for long, Ive also heard of guys letting it hang for a week. Obviously with the temps being what they are right now in southern ...

My butcher does a good job, but I figure if I can kill 'em, than I should process 'em too. I was thinking of buying a video at cabelas Canada. I think its a couple of hou...

I am a burr magnet. Those things pizz me of something feirce!! I tried everything so far. Picking them off one by one is the cleanest way, but I tried a new BBQ grill cleaning brush ( you know, the ones with "soft" wires ". It did work and requires less effort. But I think it goes wit...

Deer seem to stand out better when theres a nice blanket of snow too, your more likely to see them working their way to you sooner than you would without snow. Ive seen alot of nice bucks standing over my bait piles when there was snow that ive never seen without the white stuff. Dress to be warm, t...

VIDEOCAMS I bought the bushnell videoscope thinking how cool it would be to veiw my hunt(s). I took a buck oct 4 and had it rolling. It did a good job. I was able to replay it in my stand to see where my shot placement was. ( too far back ). based on this I waited in my stand longer than usual to tr...

As an automotive tech, I beleive I have an advantage. I smell of engine oil, and all things car related. They cant smell the human through the machine stink. Its beautiful cover scent!!!! Ever notice how deer dont seem concerned with machinery?
