IMO when using a crossbow for bowfishing you should never tie the line from the reel to the arrow shaft directly, always use an AMS safety slide. My Vixen Lite is set up for bowfishing, have had great luck with it. Three of these fish a friend shot with his recurve, one I shot with my Oneida, the other 9 fish I shot with the Vixen.
