FPS was consistant at 317FPS, no where close to the 370fps as advertised. The chrony is regularily used to test Excals. and is acc...

STS
Camoman; The STS system is simply a string suppression system , similar to what is installed on most higher-end compound bows. The STS is simply bolted to the riser, there are no moving parts. This stops the string from oscillating after the shot more quickly , therby reducing vibration and in turn ...

Maximus Crossbows
These crossbows are NOT made in Stayner Ont. They are in fact imported from China and marketed in Ontario by a company based in Stayner , that is also a distributor of Walker Downriggers. There are subtle differences between the Maximus and Excalibur when both are compared up close. I have shot the ...

No FOC
Do yourself a favour and remove the front aluminum inserts. Put in the brass. Your bolt with a 100 grian point should now have around 16 to 18% FOC. Your downrange accuracy and stability will be greatly enhanced. I shoot GT Lazer 2's 20 inch with 110gr. brass front inserts, 100 gr. Grizz Tricks with...

Astro Daco
Pyd; the 2117, 2113 or 2216 aluminum shafts should work off the Daco rail. The problem may be the groove is not deep enough to accomodate the height of the plastic fletching such as Blazers , or regular Duravanes in 4 or 5 inch lenghts. My suggestion is to stripe the shafts and re-fletch with 3 or 4...
