Re: Opinion needed for LOW cost set up

Hey richj something you may do is check out craigs list you just might be surprised at what you can find. You might get a great deal on a very high quality crossbow I know that in my area there is allways a lot of bowhunting gear on there and some great deals can be had for a budget minded person

Re: anti-dryfire project

My horton and my Hunter's [tenpoint] both can easily be uncocked in the same manner without shooting an arrow

Re: anti-dryfire project

I want to first say that I love my excalibur exocet. but I do also own two other crossbows a horton and a older hunters brand now known as ten point. and those 2 have anti dryfire devices. just do a search on here and you will see that this is not something that is a new topic you see posts over and...

Re: boltcutter broadheads

I am shooting a exocet 200 and this year tried the boltcutters with easton 2216s and I am hitting a 3inch bullseye all the way out to 50yds no problem I have not found another fixed blade broadhead that shoots this good "for me" so this is the first year that I will be shooting a fixed bla...

Re: motion sickness

X2 on the safety harness. when it is windy like that I try to stick to hunting out of my stands that are in lower laying areas, it seems that the deer often do the same to avoid all the noise,

boltcutters

I finally got a chance to shoot some of the boltcutter broadheads today. I bought them a month or so ago but just got around to shooting them and I was very impressed they shot spot on and I was able to hit bullseyes all the way out to fifty yds. I have shot spitfires for the last few years and they...

five inchers on the way out

I was just at my dealers to buy some new arrows and my 2216s now have 4 inch vanes instead of 5 inchers they said that they weren't making them with the 5 inch vanes any more, but I figured that the trend seems to be with shorter vanes with you fellas that make your own any way so they might even sh...

Re: Which Bolt? What do you shoot, and why?

I started out with aluminum switched to carbons then back to aluminum easton 2216s both the carbons and the aluminums will shoot very well but the carbons can break and or shatter and I don't want that in my deer meat it can make you very sick if you injest it if aluminum bends or breaks it just ben...

Bill thank you for listening to our concerns, it shows us that what we think is important to you. Mabe at some point you could in addition to the scopes you currently offer add a higher end option for those who would want that and then the other scopes you currently offer would still be available fo...
