Thanks bstout, Thats a great idea. I told my dad about it because it would work great for him. I guess he wouldn't need the hitch style carrier he has now though. One thing he did with his that I recomend you do to your's is add some reflective tape to the back edge. That way you won't have to worry...

I want one realy bad but I am not sure if I should do it. I would have to sell my current xbow to get it, meaning I would have to use it for hunting and I don't know if I could. The stock matches my muzzle loader stock which is cool if I ever wanted to display them in my house but then I would alway...

My dad and I have always made jerky in the oven with ground venison. It works great. The ground meat takes less time to marinate and dry compared to the strips and it is easier to eat also. Just pick out a good marinade. Some of the ones mentioned here look good, (Thanks guys, I will be trying some)...

I am pretty much the same as C.F. I wear everything to my stand. I don't want to take the time to suit up once I have walked to my stand, plus I am not convinced that it is a good idea because stripping some off to put more on and taking all that time just gives my scent time to saturate the area be...

Why even sleep? I would save my sleep for the fishing trip. Just lay down and does off with the pole in your hand (unless it is so cold you might not get up). It never fails at getting a bite for me because they always bite when I am not paying attention. Just like hunting, they come whenever you le...

I am still trying for my third buck but it doesn't look good. They are bedding down all day now. I am lucky to even see does now a days. I will keep on trying though. Probably only going to get one more day to hunt but you never know unless you try. This year is rare for me because I am not feeling ...

I have a couple friends whose parents live in a populated area of northern VA. They had two cats untill one of them dissapeared. Then the mom heard a bunch of growling, hissing, and screaming one day in her back yard in the middle of the afternoon. She went out to investigate and found her last cat ...

You're killing me dude... I got my exocet two years ago and back then I had a feeling that I should wait another season to buy, but I got it anyway. Then the next year came along and you guys put out the xbows with thumbhole stocks and lumizones. What a wound that created. I want one so bad, but I c...

My beagle was named Plato. He was the best dog ever. It didn't matter what we were hunting, he would always find it for us. One day we were out for squirrels and he kept running off ahead of us. Eventualy we caught up with him and found him sitting under a tree with like eight of em up in it. My dad...
