Re: Alright all which bow Axiom or Phoenix?
Of all the xbows I own, my favorite is the VixenII. It is lighter, and as accurate and effective as any xbow made...a pure pleasure to shoot...I added a Wyvern top quiver mount, a Wyvern string and STS, and a 3 arrow quiver... I bet that baby is easy to cock with it's over-all length of 13.5"....

Re: Alright all which bow Axiom or Phoenix?
I currently own three, including a compound 'speed bow' but the Phoenix is the one I shoot the most. I just shoots. But then, the Vortex ain't too shabby either. :D Just a tad harder (on my 70 yr old back) to cock. Sir I admire ya at 70 and still cocking that bow. My hats off to ya. Hope ya have a ...

Alright all which bow Axiom or Phoenix?
I got the 200Lb Exocet but down the road wanna get another bow if nothing else as a back-up to my Exocet. Wouldn't own any other but Excal line of bows. Never have nor do I think I will have an issue or problem with my 200-Exocet.Or should I just get me another 200-lb Exocet or an Exomax. Seems at 5...

Re: Hunting trip ruined because of shattered limb...
[quote="Bill T"]Believe it or not, we've had limbs returned to us with heat damage from the heaters in a pickup truck. Here's how it happens, someone is frozen stiff when they get off stand and throws the crossbow onto the passenger side on the truck with the stirrup downward and the limbs...

Re: Some people just don't get it
Judging by the last photo this guy is flirting withbig trouble. One day a new bear or one of the local bears will be in a bad mood and this guy will be hurting. Wild animal stay wild, not a good move on his part. ya I agree just ask the guy who did the grizzly diaries up in Alaska. The bears ended ...

I had the morning news on the tube yesterday morn on the screen was Puton, or hower his named is spelled with an Excalibur Crossbow hunting whale from it looked like a rubber raft or boat on the ocean. It looked like a Vixen model all black limbs and stock. They were dressed in cold weather gear for...

Re: Pellet Guns
Checkout the new Benjamin Marauder pcp- precharged pneumatic pistol that is coming out this fall. It is on the Crosman web-site. I own 2 of the Marauder rifles one in 177 cal and the other in 25 cal. These are super quite and hit hard as a hammer. The 177=1100fps the 25 is 900fps. The pistol will be...

Re: The Excalibur forum really rocks!!!
I really like this forum alot too. I drift in and out because I also mess with precharged pneumatic airguns that range from 177 cal to 50 cal Big-Boars. Excal-Crossbows are well made and hit the Target or Deer with ease. Folks here are easy to talk too as well. Folks are down to earth and don't let ...
