Broadheads

I use a 100 grain Crimson Hyperspeed broadhead, and when sighted in with the 100 grain Crimson practice points;they have the same point of impact .The Hyperspeed head leaves a great blood trail. You might want to give them a try.

VariZone Exomax Question

Once you have the shots grouping the way you like; 3/4 of an inch sounds like a good start, then you can sight in for point of impact.I found the easier way for me was to shoot off a bench rest just like sighting in a firearm.Start at 10 yards and shoot a bolt holding the crosshair on the bullseye as...

Gold Tip Lazer II bolts or Excaliber bolts

I contacted Excal last year with the same question .I told that the offset of the fletching was 5 degrees on their bolts and the Gold Tip bolts had a straight fletch.

Crimson Talon

I use the Crimson Talon Hyperspeed 100 grain, and harvested a small buck last season. It opens a gaping entry hole that will not clot shut.Expect a easy to follow blood trail.I also use their spiral turbine field point to practice and the broadhead will have the same point of impact as the fieldpiont...

Shotgun Hunters

If you can find them in your area, try to get some Lightfield Hybred EXP sabot slugs. They shot great from my 870.When you sight in for slugs ,you need to be shooting 2 inches high at 25 yards. With that you will be dead on at 100 yards. The reason for the 25 yard sight in is that you must be at the pea...

Artic Shield Glove System. Are they worth it?

I bought my Artic Shield glove system 2years ago and have not had cold fingers since. You do have to cover the finger glove portion with the mit to get the benefit of the Retain technology.

Lumenok's ever use them?

I've tried the Lumenok but had mixed results. The first Laser II bolt fired shattered upon deployment falling well short of the target. The second made it to the target resulting in a clean kill; but, found the bolt to be split at the nock area after retrieval.I'm thinking that the nock is not compati...
