Re: Rinehart 18-1 targets, and arrow removal?
I use Danny's pliers and yes, they do work great. But I have also found that giving the arrow a slight twist helps, when pulling from my Rinehart.

Matrix 330 Arrow Length
Does anybody know if 18" arrows will clear the stirrup? I know some of you are shooting arrows that are shorter than that, any concerns?

Re: F1 crony
Wheelie, I got the just about the same results with my Ibex and a Boo string. I went from 290ish to 312 fps with 405gr. I would love to see some postings of the speeds people are getting with a string like Boo's and the Matrix 330. If I could get 330-340 fps with a 400 gr. arrow , it would be ideal ...

Thanks, Phern ! Great post, that helped me understand what I thought was problem. I am not going change anything now. I am just going to keep shooting and try to be more consistent.

Change Parallax Yardage?
I have a Leupold VX-1 2-7x33 the current parallax is set at 75 yards. I have been thinking about changing this to 20, 25, or 30 yards. Has anybody done this? If so, do you see any advantages or disadvantages? My thinking is that if I can see my target a little better I can tighten up my groups even ...

I am getting 310-312 fps (two different chronographs, at 4 feet) with a 405 gr. arrow, using a flemish string.

Re: making arrows ?'s
The less glue the better, but it needs to be GOOD glue (Gorilla blue top).
The vanes will not come off my arrows, unless they are shot off or scraped off . I have made plenty of messes using inferior glue. Go light set tight.
