hi can anybody tell me if loctite 243 is good enough to use on the limb bolts to hold the limbs in place on the raiser not the raiser to the frame. best regards blackjack

If you look the metal that holds the threads is not radiused where that sharp corner meets the limbs and what happens is that the sharp corner chews into the finish. I like my scope to be mounted as low as possible. It's more natural for me when aiming. I've had other scope ring issues in the past that I won't go into detail, but these are my all time favorites.
