I have found them in a few different local stores this year.I'm going to try them for the first time this year hope they are what everyone claims.

I got my plot plowed limed and fertilized last month.I'm going to plant buck forage oats mixed with whitetail alfa-rack.My plot is just a kill plot plenty of food for the deer over the winter from surrounding farms.

I have been having bobcat troubles this week.They are killing my chickens if i see them they are dead.They sound like a old lady screaming makes your hair stand up on top of your head don't it.

I got a new one the other day and it smells bad like plastic.I had a buck come up behind me last night and i think the smell spooked him.I tried scent killer and doe urine but nothing seems to cover this plastic smell any ideas?

I am having that same problem with the center serving it is split where the claw holds the string on both sides.

Nothing wrong with a muzzy it's all the look alikes that i don't like.

Has anyone tried these new broadheads? I got a set of them but haven't had the time to try them with the exomax yet.It says on the pack that they are for the fast crossbows and compounds of today.It also says the faster the crossbow the more spin it will make.I don't really like the boss wasps i got...

I'm gonna keep it for a spare it shoots ok now.

I got my exomax yesterday and i love it 40 yard shot no problem and man is it fast.It totaly blows the horton crossbow away.


For anyone out their who is thinking about buying a crossbow shoot the excalibur before making your choice.

I bet that's it sounds like a good answer to me.I know the vibration on the crossbow is really bad without the quiver.

I wish my new exomax would hurry up and get here.

Bow season opens tommorrow and i guess i will have to use the horton for the first day.

I called them back today and they said that the recall on my crossbow has been done and their is nothing more they can do.I told him about it not shooting right and he refered me to a troubleshooting tech.I talked with this person about the crossbow not shooting very well.He ask me all about the cro...

I had the legend 175 that was recalled just got it back two weeks ago with the new mounting system and it is still junk.

Grizzly Adam i agree with everything you have said.All i wanted to do with the horton crossbow was go deer hunting and i guess that was to much to ask for from them.I could never use another horton crossbow to hunt with i don't trust them.I'm just down right scared of trying to even cock the crossbo...

I talked to my wife and i decided just to take the loss on the horton.I thought about trying to sell it on ebay but that would be the wrong thing to do because i know the crossbow is junk even if it is new.
