Re: Feel bad for this guy.
Get a lawyer and take the whole damn lot of them to court! I agree you may wish to investigate, like the article says have a "conversation with the parents". But there is a HUGE difference between talking with the parents and arresting the man at a school, strip searching him, keeping him ...

Re: Coyote Hunting - Decoys and Calls
Thanks Adrian - great info and pics.
So your call is separate from your decoy. What make of call are you using - is it a Foxpro? Are you using a "rabbit in distress" sound to attract the coyotes?
Thanks again,
Mountain Man

Coyote Hunting - Decoys and Calls
I'm new to coyote hunting and I'm looking to purchase a decoy which will bring them in. I will be hunting a meadow about 100 yards by 200 yards. I have been researching vibrating decoys which emit a "rabbit in distress" type call. Most I've looked at have not had very favourable reviews. H...

Re: Building A Tree Stand
Thanks for all the suggestions. I'm heading out this weekend to take down the old treestand. I should have a better idea of what I have to work with in terms of health/strength of trees. Tree movement is certainly something I will be considering. I don't want to invest time and money in something wh...

Re: Building A Tree Stand
Thanks for the replies. A two-man ladder stand is certainly a good option for some places on the property. The property has a nice meadow full of deer tracks :-) In the center is a cluster of medium sized ceder trees. The trees were cut off and an older (falling apart) tree stand currently sits amon...

Building A Tree Stand
I picked up a piece of hunting property and was looking to build a couple permanent wooden tree stands. Any tips or suggestions on how to do this properly (designs, books, websites???). I am looking to build them strong enough to hold two adults, as I will likely be hunting with either my Dad or my ...

Hi all, Awhile back, this was one of the questions I was asking myself. I wrote the MNR with two questions and thought you might like to see the answers. The two questions were: 1) What are the rules for tracking a wounded deer on private property? Put another way, you shoot a deer on crown land and...

Question About Exocet
Hi all, My brother just purchased a used crossbow. He was told it was a two year old Exocet, 200lb pull, and it has a Max Zone scope. It is not the Exocet 200 model, that is, the decal on the side of the crossbow only reads Exocet and not Exocet 200. It has the same tip style as the Exocet 200. It s...
