You know, maybe you have a new, undiscovered decoy we could use in the woods. Obviously it works. Striper

It is interesting that the broadheads seem to track 1-2 inches below field points when fired at targets. My 100 gr. NAP Spitfires group reproducibly 1 inch below field points using 2213 xx-75 bolts fired from an Exocet. Maybe the length of the broadheads does affect the point of impact. Striper

Since there aren't any moose in Alabama, I can't address what bolt would be appropriate for them. But, we have plenty of whitetails, and all you really need to hunt them are 2213 Easton xx 75 bolts and 100 grain broadheads. I use NAP Spitfires and have had really good success. The total weight of th...

Steven: Thanks for the information. I am sorry this happened to you. Possibly, passing on the details might prevent another of us from falling into the same trap- to borrow a line from another thread. Get well soon, Striper

I vote for the Vixen. If someone hasn't addressed another point, I wouldn't hunt with the quiver mounted on the bow.(it gets in my way). I use a hip quiver and tie it off on the arms of my climbing stand. Striper

Gator: I am 68, closing in on 69, and I hunt with an Exocet. I have just bought a Vixen for my wife. Actually, it is for me but I told her it is for her :D . I think that any of the Exocet are suitable for any whitetail deer. The Vixen is more compact in size and does not require as much effort to c...
