Re: The rut in on! Two bucks in an hour.

The age on both bucks is 1.5 years old. The one on the rt could be on his way down and that starts at age 6.5 but he would be one big body, so its more than likely a 1.5 with his first set of antlers. Remove the lower rt jaw bone and read the teeth for his age.

Re: Inconsistant fps, string blowing off

I feel bad for you. I can overnight my Exomag to you until you get your new limbs if it would help you out. I have enough coin to do that. I hurt myself yesterday in the tree and cant really walk all that well right now so I can rest during the rut and let you hunt it. Let me know, Mark Hey thanks ...

Re: Inconsistant fps, string blowing off

Send whole assembled riser into Danny asap, will be back in a few days like new. He'll replace both limbs. Ya I talked to Danny today and told him of the splinter crack along the edge of the rt limb and hairline cracks throught the limbs so he said send it down and he will inspect and if needed war...

Re: Inconsistant fps, string blowing off

Brace highth? I have the S5's on and they are about 1/16 from touching the rubber bumper and inside the brace highth marks on the riser. A closer check of the rt limb shows a crack on the edge of the limb. If you were to run your hand along the edge you would get a nasty splinter in your hand. The ...

Inconsistant fps, string blowing off

Made a big discovery with my Exomax today. The bow just didnt sound right when I was in the bow shop today and the fps went up and down from 224fps to 300fps. Guys in the shop said man thats loud. well it did seem louder than normal. It also was only shooting 224 fps with a 474 grain arrow and that ...

Re: Bucks are getting ready

Most of that rutting you are seeing is being done by the immature 1.5 year olds as they are like a 18 year old boy. The mature bucks are focused on food and putting on weight before they go into their breeding cycle. I had a 2.5 year old 10 point bed down 10 feet from me and when the Does got near h...

There are many QDMA branchs in PA that would be more than happy to put on a Co-op meeting to get all your neighbors on the same page, just go to www.qdma.com to see the closest branch to you. Good luck this season!!

Re: New String Brings Questions...

I had the same issue on my Exomax but decided to cock the xbow and let it stretch overnight and this solved the problem. It wont hurt the limbs as a couple of years ago the last day of bow hunting for me is Nov 14th but that night I forgot to discharge the xbow at my hunting area and told myself to ...

GREAT SHOT!!! Thats better than a buck any day of the week. I say KILL ALL coyotes as they are our biggest problem against the fawns and it isn't going to get any better.

Re: ground blinds

If you can brush it in that helps greatly to make you blend in with the natural cover. Also set it up outside in your yard for a couple of days before putting it in the woods as this will help get the abnormal smells off the blind before actually using it in the bush.

Re: S5 Fails quality

So what has Excaliburs warranty said about the S5 rubbers ? After you contacted Peter . I got a reply email from Excalibur telling me that these rubber bumpers WILL be under warranty only as they new about the problems I was having with the S5. They new I had only shot it a few times, so as Excalib...
