Yeah thats almost a religious experience isn't it. I have also been to the Sydney Nebraska one and it truly is mind numbing the amount of great stuff in there. Way better than a Basspro for hunting stuff. Did you buy a compound on that visit to Nebraska? Hehehehe Nope. I was on my way to Wyoming fo...

Well I dropped in on Boo today. Yep, he let me shoot the Ibex. What a peach of a bow !!! The new thumbhole stock fits perfectly and this Ibex handles much nicer than my Phoenix. Now I'm thinking maybe I should deal the Phoenix. What the hell, the wife doesn't know about the Phoenix so she likely won...

I also love the simplicity of the recurve. I bet yopu that a bunch of the compound crossbows out there are seriously out of tune and don't shoot anywhere what they are designed to do. I also hunt with a compound verticle bow and understand how important tune is in a compound. The other thing is whil...

Instead of tieing on a loop could you not use a longer string maybe? Wouldn't work. The string has to stop the limbs forward travel, and a longer string would be like breaking a string - stress the limbs & trash the DBs. The loop sounds interesting, though. Gotcha. Maybe Excalibur should look i...

Does the Dan Miller quiver mount interfere with an STS mount? I want to add that also. No Danny's mount goes on to the front sight dovetail of the riser. If you like it you should use crazy glue or loctite in the dovetail so it won't work loose. Actually my Phoenix doesn't have the dovetails. I bou...
