Got my first x-bow deer!
It was incredible! Got him late last night. A main frame ten with a couple of kickers. I was sitting up against a big old ceder, looking over a well worn trail. I wasn't there long, only a few minutes, when I heard some rustling in the brush off to my left. Thought it might be a squirrel, and didn't...

CP24
Anyone else feel this tv station along with City are decidely against hunting? I've long been a firm believer that they are and any of the clips I've seen having anything to do with hunting are always done in such a way that the viewers are only given the one side of the story, depicting hunters as ...

I hunt from the ground, and will try rattling in combination with grunting, almost anytime I am out. Both bucks and does will respond. And often they are silent and come in from the direction you least expect them to. Even the times where I have not seen any deer does not mean they did not respond. ...

How many Canadians reload their own ammo? Any guesses? Maybe the govn't could tell us, just like they figured how many gun owners and guns there are in Canada. Has there been some increase of reloading accidents to prompt this change? When was the last accident? Stupid politicians, go fly a kite in ...

I don't think it really matters if someone posts as a guest or signs up. Just read some of the posts from our members and you will see it doesn't matter. Too many are getting their shorts in a knot, and squabbling with people they don't even know! I'm not taking sides with anyone. If you have to fig...

What constitutes an inappropriate topic? If we must talk only crossbows, crossbow shooting, and hunting with crossbows, than there should be many more topics deleted. Some found certain threads should have been deleted, but were not too shy to respond to those very threads. It has been said before i...

I have seen pictures of this being done before, and it seems to work quite fine. If you don't have a golf ball a small round rock can be used instead. Are you planning on skinning your deer in the field? The hide helps to keep the meat from drying out and collecting dirt/debris, so depending on your...
