Judo point work well, worth sighting in with them if your going from broadheads or target points.

Judo tips are lethal on small game, stops most critters in thier tracks.

Worth siting in again, I found they fly a little off from target points, about half way between target points and broadheads. bright colered fletching is a good idea.

I had trouble also with 4 blade heads, they were all over the place, I could see the bolts going sideways, 3 blade wasps work great.

An artrery severed twice still bleeds the same, so 3 blade is likely the way to go, esp if a 4 blade won't hit the mark.

Cola is suposed to work for removing blood, it did on Mythbusters anyway. Removed rust too and worked as a good metal polish.

They do kill deer, no doubt, but I think the deer don't move out just because coyotes are about, one of my stands is only 100 yards from a den, and the deer walk right past it. Amazing, I can smell the den from 50 feet would think a deer would smell it from a half mile. Coyotes have wiped the rabits...

Missed One (equipment failure)

About five min after climbing the stand yesterday morning, I had five deer walk right in to 20 yards, 4 does and a spike. After a few min, he offered of a perfect quartering away shot at about 17 yards though on my off hand side. Fired and watched two vanes fline in the air 10 feet ahead of the bow....

40-50 yards I find there is time to follow the arrow, but not up close.

Will give that watching the aim point idea a try, thanks.

So far I found the FFF string to be holding up better than the dacron. better accuracy too.

It does need a twist every once and a while.

Follow the arrow

I know if you watch the arrow when it launches it helps the accuracy, but I can't seem to keep track of it on a 25 yard shot, that darn exomax and varizone scope. Should I be able to watch the arrow, my buddy has a phonex with a lower magnification scope and has no trouble keeping track of t...

Some sign, the frost last night might have got things going. Saw 8 does and fawns tonight 30-50yards, close all but 2 that were out in a field, but also saw a couple half harted scrapes, one within a couple hundred feet of a stand. :P

Same thing on my max, one limb is smooth, the other you can slightly see small pockets on the front side of the limb. Having worked with glass and composite layups before I would almost wonder if it was resin starved? No problems 100 or so shots, I am sure excalibur would make it right if it became ...

We have some resident cyotes that are getting too bold, no rabits left, and they have taken many deer, I have seen 4-5 kills over the last couple years. 3 bucks all in late fall early winter 4pt and two eights. one kill I came on very fresh New Years day morning, the deer looked to be in good health...

Whos got bucks?

Don't know whats up, after many evenings of looking I have yet to see a single sign of a buck on my 100 acer spot. I see does and fawns most evenings at least 2-3 but as many a 12, most years there is at least some sign of a buck, but not this year, not one heavy track, no rubs, no scrapes, nothing....
