Re: 20" Gold Tip Laser II Weights?
Am sure theoldarcher meant grains, not grams. A GT brass insert is usually 110 gr, the alum nock 22 gr. Alum inserts 32 gr. [3] 4" Duravanes 27 gr, [3] 2" Blazers 18 gr. A 'new' GT L II w/ brass inserts, alum nock and 4" vanes w/ 100 gr point is very close to 408 gr. Add 25 gr for 'o...

I had a half dozen bare shafts laying aroung and here is the weights that I got with my scales.
Bare shaft-aluminum rear and brass insert - 280.9 grams
Bare shaft-aluminum front and rear insert - 214.8 grams
Plus or minus a couple of grams either way.

It adjust to the length you need for carrying simply by grasping the buckle and sliding it back and ...

Nothing wrong with harvesting a young one if you can use the meat. Not as much meat, but it can't be beat for taste!

A weak moment
With Georgia season quickly coming to a close and having four doe and one buck tag left, I took an opportunity that presented it’s self this past week. With darkness closing in and just a few minuets of light left this yearling and another came running in to an acorn flat that I was in. She stopped ...

Re: MY STAND NO MEANS NO!
Personaly, I don't think turning to violence would solve anything. How ever if you walk over and hand them a bill for rental of your stand or blind to the tune of a couple hundred dollars  and then follow up with a civil suit (you can sue ANYONE FOR ANYTHING these days) ...

Re: eleminate another source of noise
Found this product that might be good to dip the stirrup in. its a rubber coating,I might have to dip it a few times to get a good coating. http://www.plastidip.com/home_solutions/Plasti_Dip I tried the plasti dip a few seasons ago. It does take more than one coat (usually 3 or 4) and it is not ver...

Re: eleminate another source of noise
I wraped mine a week or so ago with the limbsaver wrap desigened to wrap around the handle of a verticle bow to take the hand shock out. I like it! It took so much of the twang out of the sound and muffed it to a thunk. Mades a big difference in my book. It along with the retention spring dameners a...
