Deer in Maryland
Question is anybody else noticing a differance in lack of deer in the normal areas they used to see them? I've ask other hunters in my area,and they are saying the same.Just asking other hunters in Maryland.

Vortex,it's been good to me.Still shoots very well and the deer don't seem to mind either.So I'll stay with it.

Welcome, I use 150 gr. excal broadheads,and I just zero with those BH,and good to go.Seems to work for me.I've lost track on how many deer I've taken with this set up. I have taken deer out to 45 yds no prob. Good luck

Bobbyr I think the Vortex is a fantastic crossbow,I have not had a problem with it at all,and have had it since 2008. Have taken many deer at different yardage.As far as I'm concerned you get go wrong.

I have shot 2 within 10mins.of ea.first was 20yds 2nd was 28. First was a buck,2nd was doe.My son shot my Xbox at 27,doe.

Good deal snapperdan,my wife gave me a visit with a lady that hipotised me and that was 7 years ago STILL not smoking.It was the best gift I have even gotton...hang in there

Thanks, radio2operater, now thats what i need to hear,we here on this property have seen the same thing,more bucks ,and with larger racks.Since i last posted a neighbor of nearby property said they have adopted the same game plan.That should help us out as well. Hey thanks for all the advice.The property owner has called in our local DNR (dept.of natural resource) officer and will ask his advice.Then we will all add our 2 cents worth,and come up with a plan.
