take a twist tie and tie the end loops together....that will keep the proper # of twists in the string. :D

i've had good luck with the wasp jackhammers....though they do require an o ring (two o rings for an xbow) you can use a thin wire to shoot for practice that will keep the blades closed. :)

a few years ago i had the distinct pleasure of drinking some shine that one of our archery club's members family gave him. it was unbelievable. was dead drunk....hehe. the next day one of the guys filled his zippo cigarette lighter with it. lol. :D

i completely agree with griz and wabi. though i do believe more deer "jump" the sight of the release rather than the noise. i keep my shots under 20 yards (10 yards is better) so no problems that way. :)

does anyone know if excal has any plans to allow us to retrofit older excals with the new thumbhole stocks? i love my exocet.....but i shoot better off hand with a thumbhole stock....hehe. may have to get a custom stock. 8)

lit nocks

araz2114 would like to see pics and instructions on making lighted xbow nocks. i have been buying them for $8 a pop. i love them....helps old eyes.....but gets kinda expensive. 8)
