Management Doesn't Care
As an owner of Excalibur crossbows since the 1980's, it saddens me to see this forum go the way of the "dodo bird". The fact that the present owners do not seem to care about maintaining this once valuable advertising venue speak volumes. It indicates to me, a former VIP member, that they ...

Re: I Guess This Forum Has........
OH well, like all empires, they rise and must eventually fall. I was here, in the beginning, when it rose and I am here to see it's demise. As it has been said before, "All things must pass". So be it with this site. I suppose the time has come to put it to rest.
Amen.
Amen.

I Guess This Forum Has........
I guess this forum has gone the way of the DODO bird. It served it purpose in the past, but appears that the "powers to be" have decided that it's not worth the bother to fix it. Oh well, all things must come to an end. Let's hope that Excalibur crossbows don't suffer the same fate.

Re: forum what's wrong
Whether or not forums are not as popular and going the way of the "dodo bird", they are still an inexpensive way to advertise and promote a business. If the powers to be fail to see that fact, then they are short-sighted. If they decide to continue to ignore the problem, in time they will ...

Re: Hey, Higher-ups!
With the current situation of having the forum not working as it should, the members are being dis-serviced. As bad as that may seem, it's Excalibur (the business) who is paying the bigger price. The absence of a reliable platform where the company can promote its products, attract potential new cus...

Although the post can be read, there are still several PHP Warnings warnings and errors with the BB itself.

Re: Permit season, any luck?
In the past, I hunted an area where doe tags were 100% guaranteed. Unfortunately, now the area I hunt is only 29% success rate. Needless to say, I haven't gotten a antlerless tag yet. After being spoiled for years, and having a tag every year, I'm OK with not drawing any. I suppose it's called balan...

Peter, you've paid your dues. Thanks for your service and help throughout the years. Excalibur will not be the same without you.
Here's to wishing you a very deserved and long retirement.

That's why they have "Darwin Awards", and many are given out.

Re: After having taken a "Break"
Hello Guys,
I see not much has changed. It seems that everyone is still Truck'in.
As for me, thanks for asking. All things considered, I'm still kicking, and doing the best that I can.

After having taken a "Break"
I know it's been "a while", but after a rest to recharge my batteries, I decided to see what folks on here have been up to lately.

Re: Hooks up or down
In the olden days, it was hooks down. That's when using a rope cocker was in it's infancy. As users became more knowledge the switch was made. The primary reason for hooks up is that the string naturally creates a "downward" force on the rail. By using the hooks up it improves engagement o...
