Re: Hooks up or down

In the olden days, it was hooks down. That's when using a rope cocker was in it's infancy. As users became more knowledge the switch was made. The primary reason for hooks up is that the string naturally creates a "downward" force on the rail. By using the hooks up it improves engagement o...

Re: The imfomus matrix "micro crack"

I must be one of the lucky ones. Of the five Excaliburs I still own I can't seem to see any "micro crack" on any of them.
Hopefully I haven't spoken too soon and jinxed myself. :eusa-pray:

Re: Happy but unhappy. Excalibur accuracy

The problem I see is that the first arrow missed the dot, and the second didn't want it to feel bad so it followed it's lead. Sadly they both suffered. :( :eusa-doh:

spam not sure where spam came from
It goes back to the word Kit-chen. Excalibur was spammed by someone who was promoting kit-chen renos. So that word became a 4 letter word.

I'm pleased to have helped. I've owned Excalibur crossbows for over 32 years, and when it comes to the "older wide limbed" Excaliburs, they used to call me the historian. Sadly I haven't kept up with the latest "new crop".

Re: Gold Rail Exocet

The "gold" rail was used when Excalibur had a relationship with Bear Archery up until 1999-2000. By your description of having a "golden rail" I assume that it's a 165' Exocet with 4-colour house painted camo and a cast aluminium riser. I used to own one of them. Of course, pics ...

Man, yous guys have a problem. :eusa-popcorn: I remember having 5 bows in the man cave... lol They grow up so fast don't they. I owned 5 once but only ever had 4 on my possession at a time. All in all I've owned 14 of them over the years. I still have 5, and I'm not planning to sell any of them. We...

Re: New owner of a 340 Mag Micro !

Anthony is a good fellow, after all he has Italian blood in him. Problem is that Italians can be hard-headed and hard to convince. How do I know, well I'm one too. Anyway, when I told him that the Axe 340 now the Mag340 was an excellent bow he had a hard time believing me. Only later to buy t...

Ready or not, we'll all get by. Although time is fleeting, I'm sure when the time comes, we'll all do what it takes to address the issue.
