I liked what this guy said: Who’s supposed to protect our rights? By John Silveira Who is supposed to protect our rights? The President? The Congress? The courts? The police? Before you answer, let me remind you of something: Our rights are supposed to protect us from the President, the Congress, th...

The real problem is that the masses just don't care enough to make it an issue. Government does what the elected officials think is appropriate and not the will of the people since the people just let it be. It is our faults for not screaming with our letters, demonstrations, phone calls, etc. Unles...

Glad you still have your finger. My pheasant hunting buddy just took a bad nick out of "Yes His Trigger Finger". It's healed up now and he is building guards for his antique bandsaw. Four years ago I was crosscutting 12" wide oak boards on my cabinet saw and was using the rip fence to...

How about a belt or shoulder quiver and leave the bow for taking care of business. I hate that thing hanging on my bow. Never use it.

Hey Gary,

Is the Martin Jaguar any good? They make a woman/child bow that will draw to 29" and goes 35 to 50# I got 28 1/2" draw and thought I could start at 35# and maybe work up a little.

Neat Website on Arrow Selection - Performance Factors - Etc

I found this website and learned lots about arrows and what it takes to get one that flies true and hangs together. I thought it was a great site. Hope it helps you too.

Hmmmm that is interesting.... I also wonder about the whys of right vs left offset and also straight vs 2 degree vs 4 degree. I suppose it relates to arrow weight and broadhead weight. Just curious if anyone wants to expound on it - it sure would be an interesting topic. I'm a do-it-yourselfer and h...

Aren't they great! I am fortunate in belonging to a blackpowder club that has it's own range and they have 6 shoots a year. No in-lines are allowed so I use a Thompson Center Pennsylvania Match Rifle (50 cal) which has peep sights and is very accurate. LOL They only had 33 yards of space to build th...

I agree Wabi... I garden all summer and freeze and can lots of vegetables. Hunt and fish lots so my freezer is full. I just cotacted a friend who didn't get to hunt much this year and he has freezer room so now maybe I can arrow another nice doe. For novelty, on occasion I buy a few paks of frozen v...
