Rather keep it quiet in the middle of the night than rack off a few centerfire rounds or shotgun rounds. It's a cool lo...

I just ordered my light for the same purpose... I got the LightForce 140mm 400 watt and actually it was quite reasonable. $99 for the basic light, $25 for red filter, $14 for a second mount for shotgun. I believe I will hunt coyotes with AR-15 this year and sometimes with 10ga Mag so be nice to just...

I'll never do that again...
Just spent about three hours getting the dang blood out of my Argo ATV. Hauled a doe in from the woods in the back end and man she was pouring the blood. Of course I gave it a chance to dry on nice and get all gummy. Worse part is it got on a chain - oh what a mess! Any ideas for getting dried on gu...

I bought that same blind this fall and did nothing to it. I just put it up behind my woodpile in the back corner of my yard. I toss shelled corn and sunflower seeds on the ground about 20 yards from it daily. I probably lay out about 10# of feed a day. The does and fawns come in every night and eat ...

I put it out about 6PM and had a song dog by 10:30 I got a Maglight mounted on my 10 ga Mag shotgun with a switch on the pistol grip. Use #4 Remington HeviShot whic...

Any squirrel recipes???
I got a slew of squirrels hanging around and thought I'd nail a few with 22 rifle if they are good to eat. I hear they are - just don't know how to cook them. Any squirrel hunters out there?

I'll tell ya what... I owe my total success at hunting to my friends. Being in a wheelchair can complicate everything, but I don't let it bother me. I was lucky, a guy who had borrowed a log splitter from me for the weekend showed up about 10 minutes after I shot the doe. Without him it would have b...
