Ok, I gotta ask, I keep hearing that we should unstring our crossbows if left for a long period of time or antisipating leaving it for a long period of time. The question is, what is considered a long period of time? No one has actually clarified this. My exocet has been strung for about a year now ...

Went this morning, and thought we'd head in to our stands a bit earlier with the bright moon and all, and about 75 yards from our stand sites my buddy hear's something so we stop for a few minutes to listen then we carry on slowly to our stands. We get to about 20 yards of my stand and then all hell...

Other than the serving separating a bit, my max has been performing flawlessly. I guess with the added strain the serving will do that but mine still shoots excellent. Well with any product there could be some quirks.

I think what prowheel is tryin to say is that its not a matter of greed, its a matter of management for each wmu and a little curtousy(sp?) for the landowner in the wmu. As everyone in ontario has the privledge to get the regular tags, its just the surplus tags that landowner hunters should be able ...

Re: Weekend in the bush alone.

Should be an entertaining weekend, me and mother nature. I love sitting outside at night alone, huge firepit blazing, filtering in the cool night air. Grey Owl Ya I did that a couple weekends ago sat out by the fire pit at the camp, listening to coyotes howlin about 1/2 mile away. THey would light ...

I do agree that we don't own the wildlife on our property, but if they (the deer) decide that my property has sufficient habitat for them and decide to take up residency there, who is gonna manage that population, hmmmmm, not someone who doesn't have permission to hunt it.

I agree prowheel, Everyone has the same chance to apply or buy a deer tag that includes you cdngunner, what he is saying is that landowners and residents of the WMU should get first crack at the additional seal since they live and hunt in that area, what better way to control the population than an ...
